M. Scot was born with his body in this box called the world but his mind and soul
outside of that box. His enthusiasm to create his vision of reality emanates from his
pores and is brought to life through graphic and sculptural creations.
After working for some time creating visual worlds in the form of music
videos for the music industry in Nashville Tennessee he decided to hone his skills at
the Meyers School of Art at the University of Akron.
His major is graphic design with minors in sculpture, pro photography and
digital imaging.
He has worked with various clients to create web sites and corporate identities. Some of
these clients include “AIM Insurance? and “EZShine car wax? as well as for
local, self owed businesses.
His sculptural design has been recognized with merits at various juried exhibits
sponsored by the student art league at the Meyers School of Art and is on permanent
display on the grounds of the Meyers School of Art.
He is well versed in all of the adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
as well as being a natural in working with any medium that a sculptural design calls for.
He especially enjoys working with wood, plaster and metal to create sculptural designs
and can often be seen relaxing by sitting on his front lawn carving a piece of basswood.
